GENERAL INFORMAtION:

Q: When is the resort open for the season?

A: We are typically open from mid April (beginning the Wednesday before opening day of the fishing season) until mid-October, depending on weather conditions. If it snows early, we may close sooner.

Q: What time is check-in and Check-out?

A:

  • Check-in: 2:00 pm.

  • Check-out: 12:00 pm.

    If you need a late check-out, please check with the office. We may be able to accommodate you, depending on the next reservation.

Q: Is there Wi-Fi at the resort?

A: Yes, Wi-Fi is available near the office area under the network name BigTwinLakeGuest (no password required).

We encourage campers to unplug and enjoy the natural setting, but we understand the need to check in now and then!

Note: We’re working on future upgrades to extend Wi-Fi coverage further across the property, stay tuned!

Q: Do you allow day-use Visitors?

A: YES! Day-use fee is $10.00 per person. All visitors of current campers must check at the office upon arrival and vacate by quiet hours at 10:00 pm.

Q: are pets allowed?

A: YES, well-behaved pets are welcome in designated areas. Pets MUST be leashed at all times and cleaned up after. Please be courteous to fellow guests.

Q: Do you sell firewood, ice or snacks?

A: YES! Firewood and Ice are available at the office. At this time, we do not sell snacks or beverages due to the limited space, but we hope to add this in the future!

Reservations:

Q: How do I make a reservation?

A: You can book online through our website by clicking the “BOOK NOW” or “RESERVE” buttons, which will direct you to our reservation site. You may also contact our office directly by phone or email.

Q: is a deposit required?

A: Yes, a deposit equal to the price of the first night’s stay is required to hold your reservation. The remaining is due upon check-in.

Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?

A:

  • 14+ days in advance receive: Full 100% refund.

  • 7 - 13 days in advance receive: 50% Refund.

  • 0 - 6 days in advance: No refund

    We appreciate as much notice as possible for cancellations.

Lodging and Camping:

Q: What types of accomodations do you offer on location?

A: We offer lakeside cabins, full and partial hook-up RV sites, tent camping and dry camping. We also provide two dump stations and water-stations on site.

Q: What do the cabins have?

A: Each cabin includes electricity, a microwave, a mini- fridge, a queen size bed, a twin bunk (2 beds) and a small table fan. NO bedding is provided, please bring your own.

Q: Do you have showers onsite?

A: Yes! We offer clean restrooms and coin-operated hot showers. There are two restrooms buildings on-site. Showers are located in the bathhouse behind the office. Don’t forget to bring quarters!

Q: Is there a dump station or Laundry on site?

A: YES, we do have two dump stations onsite. There are no laundry facilities at this time.

Q: Can we host a group event or family reunion?

A: YES, Definitely! Please reach out to us (via email) in advance to coordinate group booking and possible event needs. We would love to help you plan a memorable gathering!

Q: What quiet hours do you observe?

A: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Q: can we bring our own firewood?

A: YES, you may bring your own firewood. However, we encourage campers to purchase local firewood for ecological reason to prevent the spread of invasive pests.

Q: can I gather (glean) firewood and kindling from around the resort?

A: NO. To preserve the natural beauty and protect wildlife habitats, we ask that all guests leave the natural setting as it is. Firewood is available for purchase at the office or in town, and you are also welcome to bring your own.

Q: Are campfires allowed?

A: YES, Campfires are allowed in designated fire rings, unless a burn ban is in effect. Please check our website or signs at check-in for updates. Additional information can be found

Q: Do you allow generators?

A: YES, generators are allowed during daylight hours. Generators must be turned off by 10:00 PM and must not disturb other campers.

Lake and activities:

Q: is the lake swimmable?

A: YES absolutely! The lake is great for swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking and boating. Please note: Big Twin Lake is a natural lake, and plant growth can varies with the seasons. Some shoreline areas may have reeds or lake vegetation, many guests love the natural setting, while others prefer to swim further out or stick to paddling and boating.

Q: Can you fish in the lake?

A: YES! Big Twin Lake is stocked annually with rainbow trout (10-18 inches). A valid Washington State fishing license is required. Selective fishing gear rules apply. Fishing is best in May/June and then again in Sept/Oct.  Fish deep with weighted lines during the hotter months of July and August. 

Q: Do you rent boats or water equipment?

A: YES! We rent:

  • Koffler boats (great for standing while fly fishing)

  • Paddle-boards

  • Pedal-boats.

    Life jackets are available free of charge
